Prices as a matter of fact gemstone prices vary according to the supply and demand on the market. Therefore, a larger, rarer stone with vivid colours and no treatments will be reaching higher prices than its contrary. 

Keep in mind price variations are greater with gemstones than they are with diamonds, as there are no third-party regulating gemstone prices on today’s market like we have with diamonds. It is normal to find different prices from one supplier to another for similar stones.
