Transforming a dream into a reality...all about Ghislaine
Since a very young age, Ghislaine, the Belgian - German creator and designer of “Golsong” has always been attracted by jewellery, stones and more particularly precious stones. Years went by and she kept on telling her parents that one day she would make her dream come true…
Studies and life experience where not caring her towards the jewellery world but rather towards the more corporate financial one where she started her career. It is only after few years that she decided to leave Belgium for London and make a complete professional turn, making her dream a reality!
In 2013 she graduated as a gemmologist from the famous Gemmological Institute of America (GIA) in London, followed by jewellery design classes at the London Saint Martin University. She started her career working for a large diamond trading company in Antwerp, Belgium, “The Diamond Capital Of The World”.

In 2014 she joined in her expert capacity the International Gemmological Laboratories (IGL) in London where she developed her knowledge by certifying gemstones and diamonds as well as gaining new experience based on researches she started making on Emeralds. Hatton Garden, in London was a place where she developed numerous contacts in England with goldsmith, gemstones and diamond brokers as well as many jewellers, opening her the doors to the renowned luxury store “Harrods”. Where she started in 2016, working as an expert gemmologist facilitating sales transactions for the high-end jewellery brand “Amrapali Jewels”, while continuously keeping on developing her love and passion for gemstones through the company she created in 2015, known as GG Jewels Ltd,
A walk in the forest
In 2017, following her son’s birth, she spend her mother-care leave in the Belgian countryside designing the colourful jewellery collection known as “The Four Seasons”.
Strongly influenced by her walks in the forest, taking pictures through the different seasons, deepen her friendships with forest keepers and better understanding the importance of their passion for the preservation of the nature; Inspired her to reflect this same passion for the forest in her jewellery creations and in her brand.
Based in London, but with regular presence on the continent and more particularly the Benelux, Ghislaine offers you a wide range of natural loose or mounted colourful gemstones and diamonds of any size and shape you may dream off. With as little intermediaries involved as possible, she is there for you, putting her full attention in listening to you and your desires. She is also there to better understand your personality in order to create, find and help you fulfil your wish in terms of made-to-measure, re-work of heritage gems and jewels or simply presenting you loose stones to keep for later moments in life..

Travelling around the world in order to meet gemstone miners and buying directly from them, with as little as possible or no intermediaries at all. This way Ghislaine ensures the miners a fair and equitable price as well as being able to offer her beloved customers very attractive conditions at the fairest price. European craftsmanship is important and slowly disappearing. With today's pandemic we feel even more how much we lost a lot of our European "Savoir Faire" and how dependant we are of non-European countries. Since the beginning of her company, in 2015, Ghislaine being a Belgian national living in London always found it most important to work as much as possible with Belgian and English goldsmiths.
