Do not rely on the measurements of a ring if:
- Your Hands Are Cold. Your Fingers May Be Up To Half A Size Smaller.
- On A Warm Day. Your Fingers May Be Up To Half A Size Bigger.
- If You Are Pregnant As The Hands Tend To Inflate.
- At The End Of The Day Or After Sport As Your Finger Size Do Inflate.
How to ensure the perfect fit?
- Sit down, do not stress or panic, make sure you do not stand in extreme hot or cold temperature and ideally do it in the morning.
- Generally after trying on 3 rings your fingers are swollen, it is advised to stop trying for that day and give it a go another day.
- If you are right or left-handed, your hand is slightly stronger than the other one and therefore not the same size!
- A ring should fit snugly on your finger but still be loose enough to remove without too much tugging.
Buying a ring for someone else
(Gift or Wedding)
If you are planning a secret proposal or surprise present for someone, you will need to glean their ring size without their knowledge.
- Ask friends and family first.
- If that is unsuccessful, borrow a ring that they wear on the same finger and bring it into a local jeweller asking them if they might be kind enough to size the ring.
